Tina's Butterfly

This piece was a commission as a commemorative piece to celebrate the life of Tina. It is a peacock butterfly in bright colours, and the eyes on the wings have many of Tina's special things included, these pieces were provided by her family and I worked with them in my studio to include them in a way that I thought that she would appreciate. They included beads, badges, medals, jewellery and watches belonging to Tina. Butterflies symbolise transformation and the soul, this butterfly is guardian to a special garden with amazing flowers where family and friends can visit and remember Tina.
