About Mosaic Memories
Mosaic Memories creates bespoke mosaics, original artworks, jewellery and mosaic kits, and delivers creative workshops and community projects. Our work is rooted in reclaimed and gifted materials, shared making, and the stories people bring to a piece.
Projects range from personal commissions and wearable work to large-scale public installations and participatory builds with schools, community groups and charities. Workshops run regularly at The Green Room Studio in West Acre, and we also deliver sessions off-site by agreement.
Prices vary by scope, materials and delivery requirements. For quotes and availability, the best route is contact or booking via our dedicated pages.
About Carolyn Ash
Founder of Mosaic Memories
Hi, I’m Carolyn Ash, the artist and community facilitator behind Mosaic Memories. For me, art is about connection—connecting with nature, with people, and with the stories that make life meaningful.
Trained in Textiles and Design at Great Yarmouth Art College and West Sussex College of Design in the 1980s, I’ve spent decades honing my craft across mediums—designing screen-printed giftware and later focusing on mosaic and painting.
Mosaic became my passion over 20 years ago. I love how it lets broken or overlooked materials be reimagined into something vivid and lasting—often incorporating treasured objects supplied by the people I’m creating with or for.
Beyond the studio, I’m committed to accessible creativity. Workshops, collaborative public art and community projects are central to the practice—work that can inspire, steady, and unite people through making.
Thank you for visiting Mosaic Memories. If you want to commission a piece, book a workshop, or explore what’s available, please get in touch.

Mosaic Memories is supported behind the scenes by many wonderful individuals. Special thanks to Dave Crow, who lends a steady hand across the practical and the playful: shaping the website and words, helping refine ideas, and supporting workshop logistics, facilitation, and commission build and installation where needed. A proper collaborator, and very much appreciated.
